3 Blokes, a blender and a bag of chickpeas, learning to cook.
This is not really a recipe as such. It’s a robust looking selection of chunky roots, a veg melange feauturing the carrotangle by Sensi, that went rather well with our Tuna fishcakes. mmmm, robust and chunky.
Ingredients
Chop your veg into the reqired style, so you have carrotangle, runner bangles and courgangles. See the accompanying picture for vegetangle examples if you are not sure. Steam the carrots first, cos they take a bit longer, then chuck the beans in ( after about 5 mins).
Put the courgangles in a hot pan with some olive oil. Once it’s hot, add the garlic which you have finely sliced so it’s waffer thin. 5 minutes in, add the steamed veg.
A pinch of salt, a grind of pepper and the squeezed juice of half a lime, then toss it all together. Simple.
I don’t know what it is about lime, but your kitchen should never be without it. We had these vegetangles with Tuna fishcakes and it was Canon & Ball.
We measure in pinches, punches, seconds and bra sizes. We love food, we just need to learn more about how to cook it.

So, I need 1,000 carrots and half a courgette. I can’t make this, I need to know how much stuff I need. Please help me. I’d love to look at the picture but my screen reader is reading this out loud to me. (BTW - I’m currently in the bath dictating this comment to a fantasy secretary that doen’t yet exist)
