3 Blokes, a blender and a bag of chickpeas, learning to cook.
Lightly toast some bread. Add a really, really thin spread of marmalade (optional, but try it…). Top with grated cheese and apply the MAPP torch. You’d be surprised just how close you have to hold it to get the cheese to brown—I started waving it vaguely in the direction of the bread, but ended up playing the flame directly over it.
Really. Blowtorch’s are all very well but marmalade and cheese? Originally found here
We measure in pinches, punches, seconds and bra sizes. We love food, we just need to learn more about how to cook it.

when I was a small boy (I know… hard to imagine), I used to love rolls with edam and Roses Lime Marmalade. Broaden your horizon’s, it’ll make you appear more bohemian.

If honey mixed with Dijon mustard is fair game on cheese on toast, I don’t see why a bit of marmalade isn’t worth a try. I’d give that a go right now if I had any bread on the premises.

Toast bread and spread thickly with marmalade, then cover with rashers of bacon, and top with a fried egg. If too runny, try a blow torch to firm up.
