3 Blokes, a blender and a bag of chickpeas, learning to cook.
Good afternoon fellows of the world. We’ve been hibernating from the awful “summer” that we three Brits are having. So to get us back into the MCC madness we’d like to get some ideas for summat to cook.
Any suggestions?
Nothing too complicated, something that we can learn from and then post back here to pass on our new found pearls of wisdom (mmmm pearls).
We measure in pinches, punches, seconds and bra sizes. We love food, we just need to learn more about how to cook it.

we could start with tapas? i use a question mark partly because it is, indeed, a question but, also as i know nothing of tapas. i believe that it’s partly there to keep the flies out of your pm beverage but other than that, my ignorance is supreme. have we any spanish readers?

I think the question is not “Do we have any Spanish reader?” but more “Do we have any readers?” - lol

What about something with cheese, or another “foreign” dish?

Hi Patrick et al
Good to discover you via your father’s Blog (which needs seriously updating by the way…). Looking forward to seeing him back on his feet in Durham this September.
I’ve a lively Blog full of simple recipes and have just put up one you may be interested in, have a look and keep in touch. I’ve put you into my favourites.
All the best
David
